CLE: The Science of Picking a Jury

Jury de-selection is the prevailing method of voir dire for criminal defense practitioners, but many attorneys are unfamiliar with it. Even practitioners who are familiar with and use the de-selection method often do not know why this method is the best and most commonly-employed way to pick a jury. Using psychology and social science principles, this presentation will expose both new and experienced practitioners to this voir dire approach, giving them the confidence to approach jury selection in an evidence-based and effective manner. Presented by Kelson Bohnet.
