This presentation provides Kansas public defenders with a practical overview of the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct and their obligations as attorneys, discussing Kansas attorney discipline case law and utilizing multiple choice questions to evaluate thorny ethics scenarios. Attendees will leave with concrete guidance to identify ethical pitfalls early and will know how to fulfill their ethical obligations while vigorously representing their clients.
