This 8-week course is open for any BIDS-employed public defender in the Topeka area offices (including the North Central Regional and Tenth Judicial District Public Defender Offices). Each week we will progressively work through basic trial skills, starting at the first meeting with your client and ending with the basics of an appeal. Participants are not required to attend every session, but are encouraged to attend as many as are practicable.
