Navigating the Ethical Implications of Using Technology and the Internet to Conduct Investigations (2 Hours Ethics CLE Credit)

Attorneys have a professional duty to investigate relevant facts about the matters on which they work. Of course, the internet is a powerful tool for research. Not knowing how to properly investigate using technology and the internet, however, may lead to an attorney crossing the ethical line. In this session, Danielle Hall, the Executive Director of the Kansas Lawyers Assistance Program, will discuss how to effectively conduct online investigations and where to draw the line between being resourceful and unethical.

This CLE is approved for 2 hours of ethics credit. It is $25 for assigned counsel, free for state-employed public defenders, and not open to prosecutors. Register Here.
